Job responsibilities for the Buyer will include:

• Negotiate pricing and all other elements related to supplier contract terms and conditions
• Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities
• Work with suppliers and REHAU partners to develop supplier target agreements
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service, and price performance standards of the company
• Develop strategic procurement solutions that are consistent with Company objectives
• Participate in cross-functional team efforts with suppliers and/or customers
• Create effective supplier negotiation strategies based on supplier analyses
• Negotiates transportation cost for one-time purchases and longer-term transportation agreements
• Coordinates logistics with suppliers, forwarders, and carriers and within the REHAU organization
• Expected Travel - 10%

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience as buyer of non production material (MRO) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Business
• Intermediate skill level in Excel, Word and Power Point
• Experience using SAP preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in successful supplier negotiations
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment
