REHAU, a leading innovative international polymer manufacturer, is seeking a MUNICIPEX Business Development Manager for our fast-growing line of municipal products. As a member of our dynamic sales team in this remote role, you will be responsible for increasing market share in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities for the Regional Sales Professional will include:

 

Develop and implement regional initiatives to expand MUNICIPEX sales by utilizing pricing strategy, distribution concepts and product promotion.

Promote products to utility districts, engineers, distribution partners and installers via trade shows, presentations and training programs.

Work with outside rep agencies to grow sales within the territory.

Manage existing regional distributor accounts and expand distribution.

Track activities and maintain customer information via Salesforce.com.

Achieve targets for obtaining product approval at municipalities and utilities.

Identify and communicate product development opportunities to management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

Minimum of two years of outside sales experience in one or more of these fields: waterworks, utilities and construction

Alternatively, inside sales experience with a distributor or manufacturer within the waterworks industry

Ability to develop strong rapport with existing and prospective customers.

Proven ability to communicate and sell technical benefits.

Self-motivated, team-oriented, results driven.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database for reporting.

Ability to travel within multi-state sales territory as needed.

A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, experience and geographic location. A candidate’s compensation may also include a bonus potential, consistent with REHAU’s corporate bonus plan, up to 50% of base salary.
