  • Overview

    REHAU is seeking to fill the position of Jr. Plant Coordinator – Construction.


    Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

    • Assist Plant Coordinator (Technical Manager) with coordination and introduction of new production concepts and trials in plant culm2.
    • Maintain and Create STAKAS’s
    • Assist Plant Coordinator (Technical Manager) and the quality department with coordination of production activities that affect production gradient.
    • Coordinate new business launches for plant culm2 to ensure timelines and milestones are achieved
    • CIP Expert- Continuous improvements –Lead and organize Kaizen programs for process improvements and provide support of processes in the production areas. Motivate Continuous Improvement teams and presenters.
    • Organize and present Continuous Improvement work shops and guide Continuous Improvement teams
    • Analyze and evaluate processes
    • Investigate safety incidents and improve safety within the plant.
    • Perform problem, weak point analysis and time studies.
    • Communication within and outside the Continuous Improvement teams
    • Operate cross-plant; e.g. relate experiences and Best Practices
    • Communicate REHAU Production System/Continuous Improvement ideas
    • Monitor the entire Continuous Improvement process in the plant
    • Responsible for compliance with quality requests according to valid QS and production documents
    • Ensure the necessary documentation within the context of the Quality Management System
    • Participate in preparation and execution of Quality audits
    • Acceptance of product liability in the production area
    • Ensure a production organization that conforms to system audits
    • Administrator of the REHAU Zero Mistake Suggestion Program.



    Important Individual Tasks:  

    • Ability to work any shift and weekends when deemed necessary
    • Ability to travel (foreign & domestic)


    Education and/or Experience Required:

    • B.S. Engineering Degree Preferred
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Proficient in software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Demonstrated organization skills
