    Responsibilities


    Territory Sales Manager - Woodworking Surfaces - Technical Sales


     

    REHAU is seeking an ambitious and experienced Territory Sales Manager for our Furniture Business Division. This home office based position reports through our Grand Rapids, MI Sales Office and is responsible for growing our furniture components business throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. 

     

    Specific responsibilities of the Territory Manager - Technical Sales Representative include:

    • Sell REHAU program lines including edgebanding, decorative surfaces and doors, tambour doors, hotmelt adhesives and custom profiles
    • Develop sales territory to include managing customer accounts and development of new business
    • Research the market and assess REHAU’s potential in that market base
    • Assist in the development of the sales strategy to maximize market share
    • Establish and maintain working relationships, both internally and externally
    • Call on distributors, office furniture manufacturers and retail store fixture manufacturers for the purpose of converting them to REHAU products
    • Maintain customer database via Salesforce.com, including visits and opportunities.

     

    Qualifications


    Territory Sales Manager - Woodworking Surfaces - Technical Sales


     

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
    • Two or more years of sales experience in the woodworking industry preferred
    • Experience with laminates or decorative surfaces preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
    • Proven ability to set and meet sales targets
    • Willingness to travel.

     


     REHAU offers excellent benefits and salary commensurate with experience. Compensation consists of salary plus sales incentive and car allowance.
