    REHAU is seeking an ambitious, experienced Paint Supervisor for its North American Automotive business operations.  With responsibility for various material groups for REHAU’s manufacturing facility in Cullman, Alabama, you will ensure that the company’s processes and procedures are followed. Specific tasks will include:

    The position would take responsibility for the financial reporting and planning for the Automotive NA business.  The role will prepare and co-ordinate the financial reporting of REHAU Automotive LLC, as well as liquidity planning in conjunction with region NA finance.

    Responsibilities

                  

    Main Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Material Workflow between the load and unload areas of the Paintline. Ensure that bottlenecks for the Material Flow are properly managed across all working shifts and the area meets all safety regulations.
    • Ensure proper personnel resources are maintained across all shifts according to target and work with Human Resources to ensure full coverage
    • Properly manage all employees within the reporting structure according to REHAU Corporate Policies
    • Maintain and report on the KPIs assigned for the Paint Process
    • For quality, complete required Layered Audits regarding process, products and personnel. Endure that Containment and Corrective Actions are handled according to procedure
    • Ensure that proper housekeeping standards are maintenance along with documented corrective actions
    • Develop the appropriate action plans for personnel development for all shifts ensuring proper training is available for further development. Direct interaction will be required with the Training Department.
    • Ensure that all systems are functioning properly within the Shop Floor Management Process incorporated for the Paint Area
    • Ensure that inspection standards are met for all employees within the shift and that the proper actions are generated for any employees not meeting the requirements for paint inspection
    • Ensure that proper working instructions are readily available for all shifts
    • Complete all necessary Performance Evaluations based on the reporting structure
    • Complete Safety Audits for compliance to standard and ensure that any deviations are handled appropriately through the Corrective Action Process
    • Complete daily all Human Resource functions required according to the REHAU Rules and Procedures

    Important Individual Tasks:

    • Effective communicator with all levels of organization
    • Ability to effectively supervise, direct and support hourly personnel in achieving goal of efficient paint process

     

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience Required:

    • High School diploma is the minimum requirement. College degree is preferred.
    • Preferred minimum of 5 years Automotive experience
    • Preferred minimum of 5 years Supervisor of employees experience
    • MS Office experience required

    • Ability to lead effectively
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Organized
    • MS Office products proficiency
