    Plant Human Resources Manager


    REHAU Inc, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our manufacturing facility in Cullman, AL. The successful candidate will lead the Human Resource Department in accordance with REHAU's policies, procedures and code of conduct. The HR organization is responsible for organizational development, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retention, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. 


    Job responsibilities for the Plant Human Resources Manager:

    • Provides direction and leadership to the HR department in the performance of their duties
    • Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plan
    • Develops a positive culture of continuous improvement 
    • Develops and administers HR policies and procedures for plant personnel
    • Fosters a workplace environment consistent with REHAU’s values and mission
    • Promotes employee relations and employee engagement by visiting the plant floor daily
    • Partners with plant leadership on workforce planning to ensure proper staffing levels
    • Provides leadership in the area of recruitment through creative, cost-effective methods
    • Conducts confidential investigations regarding employee relations concerns and complaints
    • Seeks guidance as needed from Corporate HR on risks, resolution and actions
    • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
    • Oversees EEOC, discrimination, and harassment compliance
    • Streamlines business processes to maximize effectiveness within HR
    • Promotes the development of HR team and shares best practices
    • Follows the latest trends in HR and ultilizes technology to improve efficiency 



    Plant Human Resources Manager


    • Bachelor’s degree in human resource or a related field
    • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred
    • Seven or more years of experience as an HR Generalist
    • Three or more years of experience in a leadership position within HR
    • Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant is required
    • Knowledge and experience with Federal employment law – ADA, EEO, FLSA, etc.
    • Proficient with SAP HRIS, Ultipro, iCIMS or another ATS
    • Strong HR presence, capable of engendering trust and confidence at all levels
    • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment guidelines is required
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
    • Team leader who works well individually, as well as part of a team.
