Responsibilities


 Engineering Sales Specialist - Radiant Heating and Plumbing


REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Engineering Sales Specialist for our Radiant Heating and Plumbing Division. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to bringing high quality PEX polymer piping systems to the American marketplace. This is a home based position with a sales territory that includes the Mid-Atlantic states.

 

Specific job responsibilities for the Engineering Sales Specialist include:

  • Secure specification of REHAU products with special emphasis on hydronics 
  • Target specifiers (architects, engineers, mechanical firms), municipalities, schools and universities
  • Complete computer aided heat/cooling load analysis and create piping diagrams 
  • Provide technical field engineering support and communicate technical designs to customers
  • Create market demand by presenting REHAU solutions to engineers and general contractors
  • Generate sales volume by identifying and tracking commercial/residential projects
  • Conduct regional training seminars to contractors, engineers and designers
  • Maintain customer database via Salesforce.com, including visits and opportunities

Qualifications


 Engineering Sales Specialist - Radiant Heating and Plumbing


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of experience
  • Five or more years of technical sales experience with mechanical systems, preferably with wholesalers, installers and professional engineers
  • Knowledge of hydronics and radiant systems preferred

  • Strong computer skills including CAD and analytical design software 
  • Strong design and field engineering acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to take ownership of opportunities
  • Outstanding customer services and follow-up skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
  • Proven ability to set and meet sales targets
  • Willingness to travel
