 Engineering Sales Specialist - HVAC

REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Engineering Sales Specialist for our Radiant Heating and Plumbing Division. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to bringing high quality PEX polymer piping systems to the American marketplace. This is a home based position with a sales territory that includes the Western US.

Specific job responsibilities for the Engineering Sales Specialist include:

• Secure specification of REHAU products with special emphasis on hydronics 
• Target specifiers (architects, engineers, mechanical firms), municipalities, schools and universities
• Provide technical field engineering support and communicate technical designs to customers
• Create market demand by presenting REHAU solutions to engineers and general contractors
• Generate sales volume by identifying and tracking commercial/residential projects
• Conduct regional training seminars to contractors, engineers and designers
• Maintain customer database via Salesforce.com, including visits and opportunities

 Engineering Sales Specialist - HVAC

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of experience
• Two or more years of technical experience with mechanical systems, preferably with wholesalers, installers and professional engineers

• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems required

• Knowledge of hydronics and radiant systems a plus

• Strong design and field engineering acumen
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to take ownership of opportunities
• Outstanding customer services and follow-up skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
• Proven ability to set and meet targets
• Willingness to travel
